We care about your privacy
To make this document more readable, “us,” “our,” and “we” refer to LifeFolder, Inc. “You” and “your” refer to anybody using our website, mobile apps or services.
What we collect
We collect some data that is specific to you. This includes:
- Basic contact information. This includes your name, address, email address, phone number and other data.
- Information that is relevant to the services we provide. This includes your age, gender, religion, your end of life wishes and other data.
We do not respond to web browser “do not track” signals.
Third Party Services
To deliver our services, we may use third party services. For example, if you use Facebook Messenger to talk to one of our chat-bots, your data will also be collected by Facebook and subject to Facebook’s privacy policies. Please know that we are not responsible for third parties’ use of your data, and we recommend that, before providing us information via third parties, you review third parties’ privacy policies.
How we use your data
We collect and use your personal information to operate our website, mobile apps and services and to deliver the services you have requested. For example, we use your information to generate a discussion document to discuss end-of-life decisions with your family members and others close to you. We also provide certain state forms for you to complete to reflect your end-of-life decisions. In addition, we may use your personal data to make you aware of services that are relevant to your interests. We may also contact you from time to time to get feedback on our services, or to let you know about new services we are offering.
We also may use your information to offer you and deliver advertisements relating to third-party products and services that may be of interest to you. Such advertisements may be delivered on our site or on other websites and services. When we do so, we will not share your personally identifiable information with third parties for the third party’s own advertising purposes without your consent.
Sharing your information
We may share your personal information with our third party service providers and joint business partners as required to provide you the services you request and respond to your enquiries.

IF IT IS UNLAWFUL TO USE OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES IN YOUR JURISDICTION OR TO TRANSFER YOUR DATA TO THE UNITED STATES, DO NOT USE OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.
We are committed to maintaining your confidence and trust, and take steps to help protect the personal information you provide to us. However, no transmission or electronic storage of information is guaranteed to be secure. We therefore urge you to always use caution when transmitting information over the Internet.
Your California Privacy Rights
California’s “Shine The Light” law permits California residents to annually request and obtain information free of charge about what personal information is disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year.
Children under 13
Our service is for adults (18 and over) and is not suitable for children. If you are under the age of 18, please do not use our website, mobile apps or services. If we become aware that we have collected the information of someone under age 13, we will delete such information. Please contact us at email@example.com if you believe we may have collected your child’s information and would like for us to delete it.
